The company was founded in 1967 in the Syrian Arab Republic in Aleppo by Sheikh Ahmed Alwais, one of the founders of the Syrian sugar industry. At the time, it was producing some types of traditional sweets. The facility was updated in 1985 and has been introduced by some of the most sophisticated devices.
