The REO Auction is an important link between producer and consumer, from ground to mouth. Because the REO Auction sells more than 70 different types of fruit and vegetables in large volumes to buyers in Europe, Canada, America and Asia. The buyers at the REO Auction are mainly the wholesale distribution, exporters and wholesalers. In fresh weather, quality fresh fruit and vegetables are prepared for sale by around 1,000 active member producers with passion and expertise. Together they bring around 200 million kg of fresh fruit and vegetables to the REO Auction every year, from conventional to organic, from traditional varieties to innovative varieties, all grown to the highest standards for safe and healthy food. The REO Auction checks and offers the products supplied quickly and efficiently. For example, the auctioned vegetables and fruit can already be in the store the day after the harvest.
