Our specialties: grilled meats, regional dishes and artisan pasta. Dona Quela is located where the first hotel in San Martin de los Andes will operate, built in 1910, preserving the style of that time and details of the typical ancient Patagonian architecture, making the place absolutely magical and cozy. In the old wood-burning kitchen, which worked for almost 100 years in the hotel, we continue to cook exquisite dishes for those who visit us. Tasty wild meats of deer or wild boar, trout from our lakes, hand-kneaded breads and pastas or traditional dishes of Argentine cuisine are cooked over the slow fire of the logs, the smoke of others ends up giving it the color and recognized flavor of our regional smoked meats. In our centennial cellar, former cellar and place to keep certain foods at a constant temperature, we keep our wines. In its crooked, but firm, rauli wooden shelves, the wines are stowed in an ideal way, with a constant temperature and humidity, which will allow us to have naturally preserved aging wines in the coming years.
