The Kababist, an original Central Asian restaurant has a deep and beautiful history in Pakistan. We opened our doors before Partition in August 1945 as a bustling and tasteful restaurant in Quetta called “Café Tehran” and the family tradition has been carried forward. In the spirit of bringing the ambiance and authenticity to the great people of Karachi, our brother Ahmad opened the first kabab house of its kind at the Boat Basin in Clifton namely “The Kababist”. It was the first Restaurant in Karachi which introduced Afghani style family eating, which many have tried to imitate.
