The Sichuan-kitchen originates from the southwest of China. It is known for its bold flavours partly due to the rich use of garlic, chilli peppers and sichuan peppers. Luckily, also to be enjoyed here in the Netherlands. At China Sichuan Kitchen for example, located on the Zeedijk or the Warmoesstraat. The menu is well priced, the staff is friendly and every dish makes your taste buds tingle - you'd almost loose your whereabouts. Don't worry. You are still in Amsterdam.
