The Café Altschwabing is a traditional coffee house, the building was built in 1887 in a historic style. Even then, large-scale coffee opened its doors in these rooms and established itself as a meeting point for artists. Even today, the magnificent stucco with a playful painting testifies of a lovingly managed coffee house, where writers such as Thomas Mann, Frank Wedekind, Joachim Ringelnatz, Stefan George, painters like Kandinsky, Franz Marc, Paul Klee and others like Lenin feel at home. In their conversations and discussions, they designed a better and more beautiful world.
