OPazo restaurant was opened in 1969. In 1981 it was acquired by Evaristo Garcia, owner of Pescaderías Corunesas who specialized the restaurant in fish and seafood as it could not be otherwise. From then on, the main objective of Opazo was the search for the best product from our coasts and a simple preparation in which natural flavors were enhanced. In 2008, a profound reform was carried out that equated the premises with the product on offer. Today it is considered one of the best fish and seafood restaurants in the world. It quickly made a niche for itself in the booming gastronomy of Madrid, to the point of being one of the few restaurants that obtained the recognition of a star in the first edition of the Michelin Red Guide for Spain.
