Osman Hayati Akdeniz was born in 1924 in Buyukcekemece, a charming town of istanbul. He served for years as a naval restaurant. He retired in 1950. Then he started working at his fisherman's restaurant, opened by his father in 1947. Upon the death of his father, he undertook the operation of the restaurant. Osman who could not break from the sea started to fish and fish restaurants. On top of this, Osman bey's lovers of the "Balik Osman" nicknamed. He added fish and appetizers to the lokantan's menu. As the day progressed, the environment and customers increased. The Balik Osman became a Brand Name. It enhanced its reputation with fresh fish and affordable prices for all sorts of fish.
