Set to make her debut on the London restaurant scene, chef, author and BBC Masterchef: The Professionals finalist Marianne Lumb announces plans for her self-titled restaurant ‘Marianne’, opening on Chepstow Road in West London W2 in September 2013. Chef Marianne Lumb began her classical training in restaurants, including the Michelin starred Gravetye Manor. From 2000 she worked as a private chef in the UK, Mediterranean, America and Australia, where she gained extensive knowledge of the local, seasonal food. In 2009 Marianne reached the finals of MasterChef the Professionals series 2, and also published her first book “Kitchen Knife Skills”.
