We, Figaro, have been for years taking a chance of offering to our guests the concept of Casual Fine Dining since, in our opinion, it suits perfectly to modern urban culture enabling free and self-sufficient nowadays individuals to enjoy the best of their dining experience. What is our idea about? It is about to break boring and notorious clich?s, to constantly increase the level of our service and cuisine, to introduce new tastes while respecting client's privacy and opinion. In these terms, our chef, Tomi Olavi Rissanen, being Finish and hence free from a rigid framework of any well-known culinary tradition, has decided not to follow popular and wide-spread throughout the world common and trivial culinary labels such as Italian, French or Japanese cuisine. Instead, he has carefully and delicately step by step created a cuisine of his own based on his personal taste and passion, and inspired by his vast working experience both in Europe and in Asia. Being wholeheartedly suppliered (in fact, even admired!) by the restaurant's owners, he has managed not only to keep his creativity through the all five years in Figaro but also to overwhelm both owners and customers with his each new menu. Casual Fine Dining assumes not only creativity of the restaurant's team but also constant increase the customers' demand towards both the taste and the service. Consequently, it results in some sort of co-working of the restaurant and its guests aimed at non-stop improvement in all aspects of the restaurant's functioning.
