In Germany, there is a tradition of having the city's main beer restaurant in the basement of the old town hall on the central square. Usually it is called Ratskeller, the "town hall basement" translated into Russian. What is good for the Germans turned out to be to their liking - the local Ratskeller has been working in Ekaterinburg for many years. Everything here is in accordance with tradition: cold fresh beer, homemade delicious food, unforgettable waitresses and Oktoberfest all year round. The cozy interior reminds us rather of a bar, which fits into a large hospitable apartment, with a living room, a library and a study. The menu has everything a good beer restaurant needs: traditional sausages, sausages and baked pork knuckles. Facility's separate pride is the largest choice of original German beer in the city, including both popular and rare beers, as well as products of small Russian breweries. In summer, Ratskeller opens an improvised "bergarten" - a traditional German "beer garden" where meat is roasted on open fire and seasonal heat is diluted with cold, slightly mustarded beer.
