La Locandiera is a family business founded in 2013 thanks to a good collaboration between the former restaurant owner and the company's current owner Cristian. Initially, the business name was La Locanda, which in Italy is the name of a rural rustic inn, but since the name was copyrighted in Sweden, the restaurant's name was changed to La Locandiera after a few years. La Locandiera means the innkeeper in Italian. In 2015, Cristian takes over the entire business and has been running it himself ever since.
