Innovating day by day with new proposals. Buenos Aires, January 2014 - 13 years ago Pizza Cero opened its premises in Av. Del Libertador and Tagle, one of the most precious corners of the Recoleta neighborhood. The brothers-in-law Jorge and Jorgito González were the ones who created the brand more than 30 years ago and who nowadays run all their stores. In view of its 13th Anniversary in the mythical corner of Recoleta, 2013 was a year of changes and restructuring. His sons Ezequiel and Lucía González, young professionals dedicated to graphic design and architecture, respectively, have carried out an absolute renovation in the decoration of the place, with the collaboration of the architects Fernando González Oliva and Luciana Gil, have renewed their atmosphere for complete and with a highly successful result. Pizza Cero has well-differentiated spaces through its setting, in which various situations are recreated: bar, formal dining room, community inn and a private room for events, in addition to tables on the sidewalk with a beautiful view of the grove of the avenue. Upon entering, diners get a panoramic view of the entire room, being able to choose the atmosphere that best suits their tastes and preferences. The bar is made up of a communal high table, other high tables for 4 people with their respective stools, and an imposing Art Deco-style bar with polished wood and surrounded by a bronze bottle rack, icon of the place. The renowned bartender Ezequiel Rodríguez was the one in charge of training the bartenders, maintaining a proposal of the highest level and creating a proposal that includes signature and classic drinks. In addition to the pizzas and empanadas that have characterized Pizza Cero for more than 30 years, this place has expanded its gastronomic proposal segmented by countries: Spain, Italy and North American Style, under the premise of a "diversification of flavors" as a novelty and feature distinctive. Borja Blazquez, renowned Spanish chef, was in charge of preparing his country's proposal and training kitchen staff. In the Tapeo Menu there are typical preparations of his authorship such as the Octopus with Vinaigrette; Marinated Anchovies; the Trio of Skewers, of smoked salmon with kanikama, of salad and of bread with tomato and raw ham and Papas Bravas, accompanied by spicy emulsion, among others. Among the main ones we can highlight the Ojo de Bife, cured and roasted with papines, cherry tomatoes and Mediterranean herbs; Basque catch of the day, with garlic and baked potato rehash; Black Pasta, black ribbons served with marinated prawns, lemon and basil; Beef and Mushroom Risotto, with dried tomato vinaigrette and crispy cheese, and several more.
