It was September 1929, when a German citizen, Mr. José Diez, founded the typical German Restaurant ABC, now known simply as The ABC. Don José, as employees, suppliers and customers called him, studied as a chef at the school of the Munster Hotel, from the years 1.920 to 1,924. His arrival in Argentina came in 1,925. Turning more than 80 years old, it is the only European Central Food establishment that survives the changing alternatives of the micro center, in a medium where locals open and close too often, except for a few exceptions. Its audience has always constituted it and it is made up of personalities of culture, politics, national and international journalists A curious fact is that the emblematic obelisk of the City of Buenos Aires was inaugurated only 8 years after the birth of the ABC.
