If you’re looking for an authentic Korean breakfast in Seoul, Mugyodong Bugeokukjib is the place to be. It has no menu, and only serves one dish – its famous beef and pollock (fish) soup. This restaurant has been serving up bugeo-guk (dried pollack soup) since 1968. Their soup is made fresh, with firmly-dried pollack, and not the frozen variety that many similar restaurants use. Their nutty and light-tasting soup draws a large crowd, making lines common at lunchtime.
