Bonafide. 100 years with you. The history of Bonafide begins in 1917, the year that Geraldo Trinks, the son of coffee importers and with extensive coffee experience acquired in Brazil, decided to open a kiosk in Pasaje Güemes, in the heart of Buenos Aires. The space was used for the sale of coffee and the first roaster in the country was installed there. Shortly after its opening, the venue gained the approval of the people. That new coffee, whole, without sugar bath and accessible to all pockets, made its way, and such was the success of the venture that in order to receive the large number of customers who congregate there, Trinks opened another store in the same gallery, to which he added the sale of candy.
