The name Bar Florian has been taken from the original owner, Floriano Francesconi, who opened Cafe Florian in December 1720 at St Mark’s Square in Venice, Italy. It is one of the oldest cafes in Europe and is known for its heritage and decor throughout the world. It sold some of the finest wines and coffee in its time and today it attracts a plethora of visitors from around the world.
