Distrikt 42 is located in Old Town, a short walk away from the subway or any bus stop, near Piața Unirii across from the Comedy Theatre. First gastropub in Bucharest in steampunk style, Distrikt 42 is definitely a special place, different from what you have seen so far. The piece of resistance is the design, you will get fascinated by all its rooms and by every piece of decor that you’ll find here; because every room takes you into a whole new novel written by Jules Verne. Recommendation: Your first visit to Distrikt 42, should begin with a guided tour. The uniqueness of the place, can also be found through music. They have thursday nights dedicated to live music concerts: funk, jazz and electro-jazz, plus DJ nights with incredible atmosphere. Because a pub is not a pub without the food, Distrikt 42 knows exactly what you want to eat. Therefore, they will greet you with a very rich menu, that is constantly evolving and that will make you come back for more. Last recommendation: you can drink a great cocktail, while you get captivated by the unique design, have great meal and also try on the originals hats that can be borrowed for a shooting session.
