Born in France and constant travelers, we fell in love with the soul of Georgia and we opened Metis Restaurant in Tbilisi in 2017. Situated 50m from the ancient and stunning Antchiskhati Basilica on the pedestrian street of Shavteli, our restaurant offers the perfect space to share a meal, experiences and a drink in the middle of old town. We believe that cuisines are the fruit of cultural exchanges and we had this idea to marry the Georgian and the French gastronomies. Try our home made Khninkali with snail garlic butter and parsley, try our Adshalali lollipop with its adjika sauce or our trout Acra. We feel that food and wine are meant to be shared with a joyful heart and we hope that Metis will bring sunshine to your evening. You can’t miss us on Shavteli street. The restaurant is located in a gothic red brick building. Feel the Parisian bistrot mood while drinking a coffee on our terrace on the pedestrian street, have a glass of sparkling wine on our rooftop overlooking the presidential palace, share the stories of your adventures sitting at the bar of the main room. We see our customers as invited guests to a party, and we are the hosts.
