For those who don’t know, Bistro’s originated in Paris, France. Their menus were built around foods that were simple, could be prepared in quantity and would keep over time. Wine and coffee were also served. Today, Bistro’s are typically small restaurants, serving moderately priced simple meals in a modest setting and defined mostly by the foods they serve. French (and in our case some Italian thrown in) home-style cooking with a tasty twist.
