It all started with Rob and Paige coming to Costa Rica for their Honeymoon in Nov. 2004. After coming home and raving about their trip, I decided to take a trip of my own a couple of months later. Five days into my trip I walked into this place to have lunch and fell in love with the view. Come to find out it was for sale. I proceeded to take a bunch of pictures and forwarded them to Rob and Paige. I then called them that night after they had got off work. We talked about the possibilities of trying to make it happen. So after going over everything that night, Rob got on line, bought a ticket, got on a flight at 6 a.m. the next morning and was in Manuel Antonio by 3 p.m. the next day. We then met with the owner, came to a price and called Paige. She said I trust you guys and agreed, sight unseen. We returned to the states sold everything, packed up and 90 days later we were standing in the airport in this picture ready to start a new life in a foreign country.
