The name "Zen" is not the Buddhism term "Zen(禅)". It’s the same pronunciation, but it means an individual small dining table or a dining tray with legs, "Zen(膳)". Zen Japanese Restaurant in Subiaco is the evolution, introducing Japanese dishes in a traditional Japanese style but with an Australian essence. We try to meet the expectations of many guests who have experienced high quality authentic Japanese cuisine whilst travelling throughout Japan.
