The name of the restaurant is "Baan Rim Nam" A bit far from the old city or night market but this is worth to go. Their service is great and friendly. The Fried Fish with Herb is very special and must try. Their Shrimp are also great. This restaurant is next to the river and you can enjoy the Live bar music. The price is less expensive than the night market but far better than many restaurants. This is a must try in Chiang Mai and I am sure you will love it.
