The place is on a little side street, for locals mostly, with regulars all the time. Small place on a side street with simple interior, modest prices, and a staff that is super friendly and helpful. That last part is great because they speak little to no English so ordering can be a process if you don’t know Spanish. Still, they are patient and with a little of what I call my “restaurant Spanish” and some improvised sign language on both sides I managed to order a wonderful off-menu meal. With regard to the wine I pretty much left it up to the server, telling him “Estoy en su manos” and he served me a great red. Get the gazpacho to start and you’ll be glad you did. Served with a side of finely chopped onion, bell pepper, and cucumber drizzled with oil and balsamic vinegar to mix in. The best I’ve ever had. That was followed by a perfectly grilled strip steak with vegetables and papas fritas. Delicioso!
