We thoroughly enjoyed the beer, food and ambience of this ‘out of the tourist area’ evening, however we were disappointed with the service. We arrived about 20.00 on a Tuesday evening to find only one table available (definitely worth booking if you want to visit!), we were shown to our table but not given any menus. After 10 mins or so I went off and found some - great that they had English language versions - we chose the beer and snack menu - but still no one came to take our order. Eventually we managed to flag down a waitress as she was serving another table and she took our order. I wondered if she was perhaps new to the job, she explained that she couldn’t remember all the beers, but she was polite and friendly which made up for her lack of knowledge. The food and beer were delicious and well paired and we’re happy to give them a top rating but after waiting more than an acceptable time to be asked about coffee and dessert we went in search of service yet again only to be told at 21.50 that the kitchen closes at 22.00 and the staff had gone home. We’d like to hope that this evening was an exception staffing wise as otherwise we thoroughly enjoyed our visit.
