Together with our team, we have made it our mission to create modern German cuisine with high-quality, fresh ingredients and a cozy atmosphere in our Kuckuck restaurant. The "Zum Kuckuck" inn was opened in 1956 in the Beckmann family's former horse stable. The inn was successfully run by the family for many decades until it was leased. In 2017, we decided to run the Kuckuck restaurant ourselves again and personally look after the well-being of our guests. The various guest rooms with the restaurant, the Auguste-Lovis room and the Karl-Beckmann parlor as well as the sun-drenched terrace invite you to a cozy get-together. Just let us pamper you and enjoy your evening with us. As a member of the Regional Producers Association of Southern Lower Saxony e.V. "Kostbares Südniedersachsen" we attach great importance to the regional selection and seasonal sourcing of our food, ingredients and drinks. Wherever possible, availability and quality are right, we always prefer to source our goods from the region. For example, we source 100% of our pork from the Göttingen butcher's shop Sebert's. Our water comes from Bad Harzburg, the beer from Einbeck, our wines from the Bremer wine shop in Göttingen, juices from the Creydt juice factory, and schnapps and liqueurs from Hardenberg. This means we can offer many regional components on our menu.
