Large downstairs pub (with a terrace in the right weather) about halfway along Strada Republicii. Serves a superb pint of ice cold Guinness (as it should, it's an Irish pub) as well as a decent attempt at a full English breakfast. Serves food long after most places in the city have closed, making it a popular late-night venue. Lays on loads of events, from live music to theatre. Can get packed at weekends but in our experience the staff will always try and find you a space somewhere.
