Located on the second floor of the bookshop Globuss, Kafka Kafija is a peaceful haven for those who want to enjoy their coffee without being disturbed by the never-ending noise and movement of Old Riga. While true coffee lovers won’t be disappointed with the quality of coffee at this spot, I especially enjoy drinking tea here. The special thing about it is that the tea has been gathered in Latvian meadows, and it’s a wonderful chance to enjoy a true taste of Latvia. And, if you fall in love with these teas, you can even buy some to take home with you! And if you choose to sweeten your tea with some honey, you can be sure that it will be real natural honey. Of course, their menu doesn’t end with just coffee and tea. There are also lots of other drinks, snacks, some cakes and alcoholic beverages on offer, and it certainly won’t be easy to choose, believe me! Since this spot is located in a bookshop, it is hard to resist the temptation to look for something new to read. So why not take a look?
