The creation of our first shop was preceded by a trip around the world. Inspired by this, a symbiosis of personal and international standards was created. The main train station in Marburg seemed the perfect place to invite people from all over the world to linger and enjoy. In 2009, the first American-style shop, "Basic Coffee Bagels & Sweets", was opened in front of the main train station as a pure coffee shop idea. In 2020, after two years of planning and renovation, the restaurant variant "Basic Kitchen Coffee Bar" was opened in the heart of Marburg, Marburg's upper town. In order to turn our claim of "basics" into trends, we have fulfilled another wish for ourselves and our guests with the Basic Kitchen Bowls... everything is also brought to your home from here.
