It arises from the need of the creators to find a space in Montevideo that invites them to live a beautiful experience hand in hand with a rich gastronomy. At that time, the concept of Café did not exist in Montevideo. In this space, the Caubarrère sisters reflected their taste for gastronomy inherited from their family and the taste for the classic. We look for a simple menu, but of high quality. We vary the lunch menu every week, while in the afternoons we turn to the European classics: croque monsieur, carrot cake, scones, etc., all made in an artisanal way. Over the years we opened a new business unit, adapting to the needs of our clients, incorporating take away and catering for events of up to 100 people. We love taking Philomène to the homes and businesses of our consumers who choose us for her birthday, parties and events of all kinds.
