A new wine center was officially opened by Mr J Scannell (Distell) on the 14th of October 2006. Now Windmeul is run by an elite team consisting of a 7 member board. The cellar has the capacity to process 14 500 tonnes of grapes, taken from 1700 hectares of vineyard from the various producing members.
