The Sarmich cheese factory originates in the city of Insar of the Republic of Mordovia, in which in 1937 the production of cheese was founded on the basis of the Insarsky Butter and Cheese Factory. In 2006, at the initiative of the Head of the Republic N.I. Merkushkina, it was decided to build a new modern plant. And today we are one of the largest enterprises in the cheese industry in Russia. The enterprise is equipped with unique equipment in which the latest developments in the global cheese industry have found application: the equipment of the French company Stip Staylor is installed in the reception and hardware workshop, the Spanish company Teknical is installed in the cheese-making workshop, a serum nanofiltration unit and equipment for portion cutting and packaging cheese - German company Alpma, packaging equipment - multinational company Sealed Air Kriovak. To date, the plant produces more than 15 types of hard and semi-hard cheeses, natural butter, as well as raw materials for further processing: concentrated milk whey and pasteurized cream. The quality of products of the Sarmich trademark is the result of strict adherence to technology and professional skill of cheese makers. Dairy raw materials are purchased only from domestic producers, and each batch of it is checked in a biochemical laboratory for 12 parameters.
