How it all started. Founded in 1926 by Vital Gormez, a young Maitre Nougatier with great enthusiasm. He definitely wanted to create his own nougat and took a leap of faith. He did what he simply had to do: make the tastiest nougat in the world. What does quality actually mean? It starts with the best raw materials. And ... time and dedication to turn them into a recipe. We cook in copper kettles because that guarantees the right softness. Golden sugar syrup and honey provide the sweet taste. Fresh protein is whipped lightly. Almonds are carefully peeled and lightly roasted. Many good things consist of three, and that's how our nougat is born.
