The terrace is festooned with lanterns, while the focus of the interior is around a wishing tree wreathed in red ribbons. The menu tells the story of the Silk Road that ran from Europe to China, so along with specialities from Northern China are also ones from more westerly regions like Xinjiang; and as the chef is from Sichuan, expect fiery dishes from that province too. A more business orientated lunch leads into an altogether livelier dinner. For a special occasion, order the ‘Flaming whole Peking duck’.
