If the number of cocktail bars a city has is an accurate barometer of the local economy, then Riga must be doing fairly well as yet another establishment specialising in mixed drinks has opened its doors (or at least the left one) on posh Antonijas iela. You can expect top shelf liquor and homemade syrups in your drinks here, which will cost you roughly €9. We enjoyed the old fashioned with bacon-infused bourbon served in a tiki mug, but you might try a blackberry toddy on a cold day or a ginger Collins to cool down. Sip your cocktail in one of the candlelit window niches or take a seat on one of the couches in the lounge hidden behind the bar. A small menu of starters and mains is also available.
