created in 1952, Tahiti-Plage changes the spirit that prevailed at the time on the Corniche Casablanca. This cult of sport and body (rather severe and elitist) gives way to a more playful approach to the seaside. Sports territory, the seaside becomes a place for meetings and entertainment. The pool is designed in a Polynesian style with some African touches. This new vision of the seaside is due to the first dealer of the site: André Suire. Having long traveled the Pacific Islands, the man is passionate about these dream lands. A pioneer of surfing, he brought to Casablanca in 1950, the first boards coming from Polynesia.
