Sofra e Ariut Restaurant is one of the most prestigious restaurants in the city of Tirana in Albania. Father Sofra welcomed different personalities where it is worth mentioning the former Mrs. Ms. Laura Bush during the visit he made in 2007. Sofra e Ariut restaurant with the representative Mrs. Lavdie Shehu in July 2011 won the L'IMPERO DEI SAPORI INTERNATIONAL award. They were "Tava e Kosit" and "Tiranë Tirana" associated with the "Sofra e Ariut" raisins, which won the heart of the international jury, giving the first prize for the special and distinctive taste that brought these dishes. Mr. Dritan Pashako the owner of the restaurant together with the cook Mrs. Lavdie Shehu was received by the Minister of Agriculture, Food and Consumer Protection, Mr. Genc Ruli, who praised and stressed the importance for Albanian cuisine around the world.
