We visited Sintra and bypassed the usual open-air tourist fare. We are in this great restaurant. The food was superbly prepared. The ingredients first rate. The flavors wonderful. We had acorda, (I don’t know how to do the little squiggle under the letter c), after starting with octopus, and followed by travesseiros. The wait staff was attentive. We met the chef and discussed Portuguese cuisine and olive oil. Great time. I have nothing against tourist fare but there are places for real cuisine. This is a great one.
