Saint Germain caused quite a splash when it opened in 2005. Hang on a moment - do things really splash in Vilnius? No, perhaps not, they sort of ripple dreamily, like a mermaid waving to some hapless sailor. Well, this restaurant has plenty to prompt you to take the plunge. And hopefully you won't find that the beautiful mermaid transforms into a terrible hag. Saint Germain serves up delectable French classics and some decent pasta numbers too. Find it on the corner of Literatu Street (an apt name, as there are few more poetic nooks in the Old Town).
