Ile Maurice Restaurant, previously known as The St Geran Restaurant was established in June 1976 at BP Centre on the corner of Aliwal and West Streets in Durban. The restaurant moved to the old Napaleon building in Aliwal Street in 1977 and again to Florida Road in 1980. Ile Maurice Restaurant was born in Umhlanga Rocks in December 1999 when most businesses moved onto the Ridge and towards the north of Durban. Our great Mauritian and French recipes are being carefully monitored & protected under the personal guidance of Christian Lenferna de la Motte. In 2016, Ile Maurice Restaurant will celebrate 40 years of GREAT food and service to Durban.
