Little Caesars History In 1959, Mike and Marion Ilitch opened their first Little Caesars Pizza in Garden City, Michigan. Under Ilitches, Little Caesars succeeded in becoming one of three international pizza chains. The Little Caesars Pizza chain, which has many restaurants on five continents, is still headed by the Ilitch family.
