EN Our Spalding site was purpose built in 2008. With 4,800 M² of grading, packing and distribution facilities and 790 M² of office space, the building was designed with new energy saving methods, including light weight insulation panels, as well as using heat recovery from the cooling equipment to heat the office. We expanded the site further in 2014 with the building of 3,500 M² storage facility. Spalding is our head office and houses Commercial, International Procurement, Finance, HR, Transport, IT, and Operations departments. Whitstable is an office only site focusing on UK grown apples and pears. With 24 staff, including UK Procurement, Planning, Logistics, Techinical and Commercial functions, this site also manages the distribution of imported apples and pears, handled by principle Worldwide Fruit pack sites located in Kent. Fruition PO, the producer organisation suppliered by the European Community, also has its offices in this building.
