تأسست شركة العلياء للصناعات المتخصصة (زيت) في عام 2001 لانتاج زيت الزيتون الأردني البكر الممتاز ذي الجودة العالية. وتنتج شركة (زيت) أيضاً الزيوت النباتية الأخرى مثل: زيت فول الصويا، وزيت النخيل وزيت عباد الشمس والسمن. أنشأ مصنع (زيت) على مساحة 7000 متر مربع وعلى بعد 20 كم جنوب العاصمة عمان و15 كم من جبل نيبو المقدس الذي يعرف بالمكان الذي وقف عليه النبي موسى عليه السلام ليرى أرض الميعاد كما يعتقد أيضا أنه مثواه الأخير. مهمتنا ورؤيتنا كشركة انطلقت من تقديرنا لمدى أهمية شجرة الزيتون في تراثنا وحرصنا على استمرارية هذا التراث القديم والذي نسعى من خلاله التعبير عن هويتنا الأردنية في هذه المنطقة التاريخية التي هي مهد الرسل ومهد هذه الشجرة المباركة. Alia Specialized Industries Co. (Zaitt) was established in 2001 as a producer of premium quality extra virgin Jordanian Olive Oil. Zaitt also produces other vegetable oils namely Soya, Palm Olein, Sunflower and shortening. Our mission and vision as a company evolved from the desire to acknowledge this sacred tree. Through producing premium Olive Oil we are communicating our identity as Jordanians living on these lands walked by prophets and the birthplace of this ancient tree. Zaitt factory covers an area of 7000 Sq.M and is located 20KM South of Amman (Jordan's Capital) in the City of Madaba, famous for its Mosaic Map of Palestine depicting the Holy Land from Jerusalem and River Jordan. Our factory happens to be located 15KM from Mount Nebo (Pisgah). This is the holy Mount where Prophet Moses was believed to have stood to see the Promised Land, also believed to be his resting place... Our team works together with a unified goal where the spirit of the team is essential at Zaitt. This to date has enabled us to meet the challenges of the rapidly expanding market and will hopefully navigate us through upcoming challenges in the future.
