British Premium Meats was founded by four brothers in 1986 and was originally known as ‘Hutchinson Bro’s’. The company started out as an independent butchers shop in Kenton, North London and through consistent growth has now relocated to two sites; the meat preparation and head office located in Welwyn Garden City and distribution based in Wembley. Since moving to Welwyn the factory has gained BRC accreditation grade AA, as well as being awarded an EU cutting plant licence number UK 5522 EC. The Wembley depot has also gained BRC accreditation for storage and distribution. The depot is ideally positioned with excellent road links close by, including the M25, M40, M3, M4 and the M1 all within an hour from Wembley. The continuing success of the business is suppliered by our strong sales team, who work closely with our experienced butchers to supply consistent, quality meat and poultry, competitively priced with full traceability.
