SEBAHAT S.A. was founded by Cavit Sebahat in 1987 at Enschede in the Netherlands, to manufacture various kinds of Turkish Delight and fill a gap in the market with this highly- ap- preciated product. Following Sebahat’s S.A. swift success and to meet the constantly growing demand, the firm decided in 1990 to move to Brussels where its expansion was considerably easier, since Brussels was the home of most of the Sebahat family; Mr. Cavit Sebahat wanted his family to share his success, and help make the company grow. To widen the product range, Sebahat S.A. also began making halva and flavored instant drinks. For over nine years the Sebahat company had been supplying the whole European market, providing Turkish Delight and halva to most importers, chain stores and supermarkets. To develop its market beyond Europe, the company now decided to exhibit at many international food products Salons, introducing itself to markets elsewhere in the world, such as America and Asia. Now 20 years old, proud of its long-standing success and constantly growing production, Sebahat S.A. decided to build a completely new factory with the best and most advanced technology that food manufacturing could offer. 5.000 m2 of buildings went up on a Brussels site of over 10.500 m2, and came on stream in December Meeting the new health requirements (HACCP) and capable of filling the ever-rising demand. Today Sebahat S.A. is proud to present a growing range of products, while regularly making further investments to increase this range and offer the market the very best that the industry is capable of. The growing of the company is continuing with considerable investments to provide into the market a larger range of new Sebahat products. To give a better service and distribution in Germany we decided to created Sebahat Deutschland GMBH who takes in charge distribution in all over Germany. Company Sebahat is proud to put into the market her new range of “Moulds” Turkish Delight who are now very famous and so appreciated by the customers. Company Sebahat create his new trademarks Turkish Delight who are: LOVLY, SILVY, PERA and EFSANE with the new “moulds” production line. In the meantime we continue to develop our range and arrived to propose the real Chocolate covered Turkish Delight. A real Delight… Not long after took Sebahat S.A. also new brands on the market. Namely LOKI, KAFELO and PERAM. It is a smashing success and is throughout the world.
