La William was founded in 1963 when the pioneering company became the first to release Andalouse and Brasil on the market. The use of fresh and natural ingredients has always been important to La William, which is why we can bring out the best quality and most delicious taste in every sauce. Over the past 50 years, La William has grown to become a typical Belgian, family company employing around 40 people. The La William brand was born in 1963. The production of La William sauces grew from a wholesaler in items for chip shops in Londerzeel before branching out into products for a broader target group. During the 1970s, La William opted to begin exporting and distributing to individual consumers. Today, La William products continue to be sold, among others, in Norway, France, Germany, Portugal, Luxembourg, Denmark and the Netherlands. In 1995, Johan Peeters took over the company. The wholesale activities in chip shop items were stopped entirely and replaced by the production of the best tasting and best quality sauces. In the meantime, La William with Peeters at the helm has grown to become a family company with 40 employees. This staff expansion has resulted in a solid professional team which La William has developed into what it is today. Since 2007, La William has come to target the consumer market more and more alongside its traditional professional clientele. The brand’s focus, however, remains constantly fixed on bringing out the best possible taste in every sauce. During the summer of 2010, La William launched a new logo and new packaging. The new design expresses La William’s core identity even better than before: an innovative, quality brand. La William boasts a very broad range with more than 15 different varieties: a sauce to accompany every dish. The full range of sauces comprises traditional perennials such as Mayonnaise, Tartare and Cocktail, but also a few novel, exotic discoveries such as Brasil, Banzai and Pitta.
