Since 1989, the Choi family is active in the catering industry. In 2002 they came to Germany and took over the former Korea House in Vahrenwald Hannover. In 2008 they opened the restaurant Chois and since then they are the only ones in Hanover to offer traditional Korean specialties such as bibimbap (a popular Korean dish made with rice and various vegetables, some beef, fried egg and chiliasts) and Bulgogi (marinated meat) grilled on the table).
