The year is 1920. The Twenties are Roaring. Strolling through the bustling city of Antwerp you can enjoy the activity that the Summer Olympics have brought with it. The setting sun kisses the Scheldt water. Time to leave the Kaaien and go via the Suikerrui towards the Grote Markt. There is always something going on there. The Steen just behind you, your attention is suddenly attracted by a line of seductive Charleston music, followed by the flavoring smell of grilled meat. Both come from a cozy-looking restaurant with a large street terrace and a British-inspired interior dominated by brown and golden touches. Later this would be called "vintage" or "retro", but of course you don't know that. You will receive a friendly welcome from the manager, complete with news boy’s cap and jacket suit. His pocket watch is stumbling away carelessly. He brings you to your table - adorned by a wall with portraits of Gloria Swanson and Douglas Elton Ulman - and offers you a glass of bubbles.
