The philosophy of Chrysostomos restaurant is the preparation of genuine Cretan flavors cooked in the wood oven that are made with appetite and authentic quality Cretan ingredients mainly taken from the land of Sfakion. you will feel the genuine hospitality and warmth of a Cretan home. Our goal is to taste the traditional Cretan cuisine and especially Sfakiani and to achieve this we choose very carefully the ingredients and raw materials that we will use. Lamb and goats from Sfakia, pure cheese extra virgin Cretan olive oil are some of the ingredients we use. We offer you pre baked bread baked in the wood oven which you can combine with a little olive oil from December to February you will find the famous fresh olive oil and coarse sea salt. In the wood oven you can also try lamb ofto lamb in oil paste lamb with potatoes stuffed giant patty patty with siglina. Very tasty dishes such as smoked goat with or without staka mushrooms with stamnagathi lamb with stamnagathi fricassee wild boar stew veal braised red bunny wine as well as meals of the hour. You can accompany your meal with a white or red wine from our wine cellar. You will find a wide variety of wines from Greek producers. We have been awarded 8 times with the Greek Cuisine Award in 2009 2010 2014 2015 2017 by the institution of Golden Hats and in 2018 2019 and 2020 by the now independent institution Greek Cuisine Awards.
