It was in an old ruined carpent’s shop that the owners decided in 2008 to make this old building a convivial meeting place. Nestled in a haven of peace in the small square, a short walk away from Jemaa el Fna Square, Un Déjeuner à Marrakech opened its doors in 2009. With the collaboration of a young creative forward-looking chef together they offer for the first time in the Medina a creative and modern cuisine combining the flavours of the East and the West. The tone is set: fresh local produce, subtle fusion of Moroccan and French cuisines, varied flavors and pleasing to the eye. The discreet façade of this restaurant reveals three areas designed and furnished by the designer Ludovic Petit. The sober and welcoming décor is designed by the young Moroccan designer Sarah B. Harnafi. Take the stairs leading to the different areas and meet on your way the cooks busy behind their stoves before you arrive at one of the most beautiful terraces in the Medina disclosing a 360 degree view overlooking the old town and the chain of the Atlas mountains. Find any excuse to come here for a little savoury snack or a fine sweet patisserie, a lunch on the shaded terrace or a dinner under the light of lanterns. Next door to Un Déjeuner à Marrakech its « little brother » Wakfa opened in 2015 offers delicious homemade ice cream, lemonade and crêpes freshly
